Roman Rutkowski

Architect, head of Roman Rutkowski Architects and member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space since the 2012 edition.



The architect Roman Rutkowski (Nysa, 1972) is head of the Wroclaw-based office Roman Rutkowski Architects. He teaches Architectural Design and theory at the Wrocław University of Technology and the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. For years, he has been architecture critic in the Polish press and correspondent of A10 magazine. He also writes about the artistic avant-gardes of the twentieth century and is currently working on a book on the space in works of art of the sixties and seventies. Rutkowski is a member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space since the 2012 edition.
