Katharina Ritter began to work as an architecture exhibition curator in 1994. In 2002 and 2004, she was in charge of preparing the project of Austria’s participation in the Venice Biennale of Architecture. She has also worked on numerous publications in the field. Since 2006, she has been exhibitions programmer at the Architekturzentrum Wien, one of the six European institutions that work with the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona in organising the European Prize for Urban Public Space. This year, Katharina Ritter had represented Angelika Fitz, director of the Architekturzentrum Wien, as a member of the Jury for the Prize.
