Associate Professor of Geography at the University of Toronto
Her main research areas are spaces of protest, the geography of citizenship and work, militarism, violence and security, cities and social justice, and urban policy. She divides her research into two main lines: the first examines the way in which territories grow, while the second inquires into urban policies and planning, with particular attention to racialisation of spaces and of poverty in the transformation of suburbs in the post-war period.
