Aneta Vasileva is an architect, architectural critic and journalist and member of the architecture group WhAT Association.



Aneta Vasileva is an architectural historian, critic and publicist, based in Bulgaria. She graduated as master of architecture at the University of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy (UACEG), Sofia and holds a Ph.D. in architectural history and theory from the same university (2017). Aneta specializes in Bulgarian post WWII architecture and preservation of architectural heritage. She is also a contributor to the international EU Programme ATRIUM (Architecture of Totalitarian Regimes of the 20th Century in Urban Management) and co-author and editor of the Architectural section of the Bulgarian Nouvelle Vague book (EDNO Magazine, 2012) outlining the best of the Bulgarian contemporary artists for the past 10 years. She is a member of A10 New European Architecture Cooperative (www.a10.eu) and co-founder and blogger at WhAT Association (whata.org), dedicated to contemporary architectural criticism, journalism and the organization and evaluation of architectural competitions.
