The 25 finalists of the 2018 Prize now published

The list of the 25 finalist works of the tenth edition of the European Prize for Urban Public Space is now available for consultation on this website.

The finalists constitute a first selection done by the International Jury of the Prize during their meeting held at the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) on the 18 and 19 April. During these two intensive working days, the members of the jury, chaired by  Olga Tarrasó, reviewed and evaluated some 279 submitted candidatures, coming from 179 cities and representing a total of 32 different countries.

Among the 25 finalist, the jury also reached a verdict regarding the winners  that will not be made public until the 20 June, during the award-giving ceremony taking place at the CCCB. Meanwhile, the 25 finalist form a comprehensive sample that is representative of the diversity of interventions and the abundant examples of good practices of the improvement of public spaces throughout Europe.

For the time being, the list of the 25 finalist allows for the downloading of the three panels submitted to the award by their respective authors or developers. Later on, the finalists will be published on the Works website section.
