A lecturer in Architecture at the Dessau International School of Architecture (DIA), Anhalt University, since 2013, he previously taught at the University of Belgrade, as well as being a visiting lecturer at Parsons The New School for Design, KTH Stockholm, GUTech Muscat, and Polis University Tirana, among others. His academic research is mainly in the area of sustainable architecture and urban development with a focus on strategies of informal construction and participative practices.
In the professional sphere, he works as an architect in interdisciplinary teams and projects covering a wide range of activity from urban design, construction, exhibition design, and urban amenities. In 2006 he founded the Belgrade International Architecture Week and, in 2012, he began to work as director of the Urban Transformations programme of the Mikser Festival, and also founded the School of Urban Practices. He has written the book 15/3 (Univerzitet u Beogradu, Arhitektonski Fakultet, 2008) and edited Architectures of Informality (DIAseries, 2018).
