The 2024 Prize exhibition now showing at ETSAV

Sant Cugat del Vallès

The 2024 European Prize for Urban Public Space exhibition, which presents the most outstanding works presented for last year’s award, continues its tour. After being shown at the School of Architecture of the University of Rovira i Virgili in Reus, it can now be visited at the Vallès School of Architecture (ETSAV) of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC).
This is the second time the exhibition has been shown at ETSAV. The aim is to acquaint students with some of the best examples of good urban practice in Europe, with particular attention to sustainability, social inclusion, and high-quality architecture applied to public space.
This initiative seeks to establish a bridge between professional practice and academic training and, by means of offering specific examples, to aid understanding of the challenges facing European cities today, and also their solutions. It also invites reflection on the political, social, and cultural dimensions of the profession.
The exhibition is part of the long-term institutional relationship between the Centre of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB) and ETSAV, with a programme including other activities like lectures and workshops.
