Recognized professionals in the fields of architecture and urban affairs who have nominated projects for the Prize.

One of the key figures in the organization of the Prize is the Board of Experts, a group of recognized professionals in the fields of architecture, urban planning, journalism, and other disciplines related to urban issues. Its members propose, for the Prize competition, interventions in public space that they consider particularly relevant.

This system —which coexists with the open call for entries to the competition— ensures the presence of outstanding works, a factor that is especially important for countries of the Council of Europe with which there is less communication.
