Art curator and writer. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts.

A curator working with art, architecture, and spatial practices, she is a graduate in Art, History of Art, and Philosophy, with postgraduate studies in Arts Administration at University College Dublin. She is director of the Irish Architecture Foundation, which aims to raise the profile of architectural and urban planning culture. From 2004 to 2007 she was deputy director of The Architecture Foundation (London) and, prior to that, she was director of the Butler Gallery in Kilkenny for five years.

She organises debates and writes for several publications on the visual arts and architecture as well as curating exhibitions, notable amongst which are “The Everyday Experience” (Irish Museum of Modern Art, 2013) and the Irish pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale in 2008 and 2010. Between 2012 and 2015 she was co-chair of the Dublin-based LGBT rights charity GLEN (Gay and Lesbian Equality Network). She is a member of the Curating Architecture Forum at Goldsmiths and also of the Architectural Humanities Research Association.
