Susanne Dürr

Architect. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts.

After studying Architecture at the universities of Karlsruhe  (Germany) and Bath (England) she has been working as a university lecturer in several institutions and, since 2007, has been a lecturer in Urban Planning, Theory, and Building Design in the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering of the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. Her main fields of research are the city, energy and public space.

She has also been working professionally as an architect since 1988 in different parts of Germany and Europe. Among her partners and colleagues are Professor Mutschler, the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Genoa, the architects Kurz, Baurmann, Helleckes, Weismann and Wall, among others. She has also participated as a jury member in numerous architecture competitions.
