A political scientist, he works at the John F. Kennedy Institute of the Free University in Berlin

He is presently finalising his thesis “Neoliberalism and Urban Space: Activism, Atavism, and Aspiration” He is author of the article “The New Peace-keeping Functions of Nonprofits. Contesting Neoliberalization or the Urban Poor?”, which has appeared in the book Contesting Neoliberalism. The Urban Frontier (Leitner/Jamie Peck/Eric Sheppard eds., Guilford Press, 2006).
