After founding his own studio, he has mainly worked in projects of urban design, in particular in the restoration and design of many urban centres in Warsaw, and he is also co-author of the concept of garden cities in the conurbation of Warsaw. Notable amongst the design projects on which he has worked is the Royal Route, Warsaw’s most important historical public space. In 1986 he won an international competition for his Structure for Urban Improvement in the New Belgrade. He has also worked in the design and construction of film and television sets in Poland.

In the academic side of his career, he has a PhD in Architecture and is a lecturer in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture in the Warsaw University of Technology. He is author of the book Przestrzeń Warszawy. Tożsamość miasta a urbanistyka (The Space of Warsaw: Identity of the City and Urban Planning), which was published by the Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego in 2016. Between 1984 and 1987, he was vice-president of the Warsaw Section of the Society of Polish Town Planners and was also consultant to the mayor of Warsaw from 2008 to 2011. In 2015 he was elected as a member of the Warsaw Architecture and Public Space Council.
