Architect and urbanist. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts.

With a degree in Architecture from ISACF-La Cambre (Brussels) and in Urbanism from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Barcelona), he co-founded the architecture studio MSA in Brussels together with Jean-Marc Simon. In 2017 the MSA project NAVEZ, consisting of five units of social housing in Schaerbeek, Brussels, was recognised with the Mies van der Rohe Prize for Emerging Architects.

In his academic work he has been carrying out research in the Free University of Brussels (ULB) Faculty of Architecture where he is the coordinator of the Laboratory of Urbanism, Infrastructure, and Ecologies (LoUIsE). His area of research is urban planning projects carried out in Belgian cities and the agents involved in them. He is the author of numerous articles and texts on urbanism, notable among them, “Concevoir et aménager les espaces publics à Bruxelles” in Brussels Studies (Article 50, Collection générale 2011).
