Ludovica Molo

Architect and Professor. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts (2016-2024)

Ludovica Molo is the director of i2a istituto internazionale di architettura, which has been engaged in the field of architecture and urban culture since 1983. She is a partner in the studiowe architects founded in 2010 in Lugano with Felix Wettstein. Together they are responsible for the 'architecture and structure' focus within the architecture master course at the Hochschule Lucerne. Since 2009, Molo has also been a Member of the Stadtbildkommission of the City of Bern and since 2016 a member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space.

She edited Kenneth Frampton's The Other Modern Movement, recently published by Mendrisio Academy Press. She graduated in architecture from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH), then worked as an assistant at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, and as director of SCI-Arc in Vico Morcote. From 1998 to 2009, she was co-owner of the architecture studio könz.molo in Lugano.
