Architect.
Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts (2010, 2014, 2022 and 2024).

PhD Architect, Full Professor of Landscape Architecture at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria.  She is in the Executive Board of UNISCAPE (European Network of Universities for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention) and in the executive board of IASLA (Italian Academic Society of Landscape Architecture).

Visiting Professor in numerous universities, including ETSAB, UPF, and UAB in Barcelona; ENA of Rabat, EMADU of Fez (Morocco); the KU in Leuven, and the University of Pennsylvania, amongst others. She has designed gardens in Fara Sabina, Rome, Chaumont- sur-Loire, Canet de Mar, and Girona and, for the latter project, she received the 2003 FAD Opinion Award. Her ephemeral work ‘Giardino del Vento’ received First Prize at the Rome Landscape Festival in 2013. From 2000 and 2010 she was director of the ‘Land&Scape’ book series (Gustavo Gili), which received a Special Mention in the FAD Thought and Criticism Awards in 2011. She is presently director of the ‘L&SCAPE’ book series of the publisher Libria, Melfi (Italy). She is the author of multiple books such as ‘Jardins (con)Temporanis’ (Casa del La Cultura Les Bernardes-Salt, Girona, 2019); ‘Jacques Simon. The Other Landscapes. Ideas and Thoughts on the territory (with Teresa Galì)’, Editorial Libria (2018), ‘Carme Pinós Arquitecturas’ (Gustavo Gili, 2015), and ‘Un Altro Mediterraneo’ (Altralinea, Firenze 2015).
