She has taught at the Graduate School of Architecture of Columbia University. She is the author of Enduring Innocence: Global Architecture and its Political Masquerades (MIT Press, Cambridge 2005), Organization Space: Landscapes, Highways, and Houses in America (MIT Press, Cambridge 1999) and American Town Plans (Princeton Architectural Press, New York 1993).
