Architect. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts.

With a PhD from the KTH School of Architecture and now a researcher and Head of Analysis at White arkitekter, she was previously a senior advisor at ArkDes, the Swedish Centre for Architecture and Design, from 2010 to 2014 and, from 2007 to 2009, editor-in-chief of the architectural magazine Rum.

Her areas of research include the development of the architectural subject in relation with society, technology, and visual cultures. Her doctoral thesis, titled “Losing the Plot – Architecture and Narrativity in Fin-de-Siècle Media Cultures”, analyses pre-digital virtual architecture in literature and film at the end of the nineteenth century. Since 1999 she has been a regular contributor in national and international architectural publications and magazines. She is also editor of Hall of Femmes: Barbara Stauffacher Solomon (Oyster Press, 2016).
