Architect and urbanist. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts.

After studying Architecture at the University of Belgrade, she obtained a PhD from the Barcelona School of Architecture (ETSAB), and now lives and works in Barcelona. Together with Jaume Prat and Isaki Lacuesta, she was curator of the Catalan pavilion at the Architecture Biennale of Venice in 2016 and, with Zoran Dmitrovic, of the exhibition “Belgrade Brutalism!” in the Kolektiv Gallery of Belgrade in 2016. She has worked with the platform Eurasian Hub in projects of urban transformation and has been head of the Area of Architecture and Urbanism in Casa del Este (House of the East).

She frequently writes for the blog of the Fundación Arquia and that of the Urban Living Lab and aloso teaches Urban History and History of Barcelona at the Barcelona Architecture Centre. Notable among her publications are (co-authored by Roger Mateos) Corea del Norte: utopía de hormigón; arquitectura y urbanismo al servicio de una ideología (North Korea, a Concrete Utopia: Architecture and Urban Planning in the Service of an Ideology, Muñoz Maya Editores, 2012), “Espacio público en la ciudad socialista: entre la abundancia y la indefinición” (Public Space in the Socialist City: Between Abundance and Lack of Definition, URBS Revista de Estudios Urbanos y Ciencias Sociales, Vol. 13, nº1, 2013, pp. 89-104), and many other articles and chapters in books. She also gives lectures and participates in seminars at ETSAB, the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), the Friends of UNESCO Foundation in Barcelona, and the Ion Mincu University of Bucharest.
