Architect and urbanist. Secretary of the prize jury in 2008.

Trained as an architect at the Barcelona Graduate School of Architecture (ETSAB), in 2009 he gained his PhD at the same university. Assistant lecturer to Manuel de Solà-Morales between 2004 and 2009. Lecturer since 2014. Assistant Director of International Relations at the ETSAB, he has taught at several national and international architecture schools. He has published articles and is author of Variaciones sobre la regularidad: el proyecto de el Vedado en la formacion de la Habana metropolitana (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, 2012), co-editor of Upcycle Barcelona (Université Libre de Bruxelles, 2014), and editor of Cerdà-Eixample (Edicions UPC, 2010) by Manuel de Solà-Morales. Since 2004 he has been a member of the Laboratori d’Urbanisme de Barcelona. As a researcher he is involved in various projects in collaboration with universities worldwide.

He combines academia with the professional praxis of his studio, together with Joan Solà. He has designed urban plans and studies by public commission and, since 2013, has formed part of the team responsible for drafting the Master Plan for the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona.

He was Secretary of the prize jury in 2008.
