Art curator. Member of the Prize’s Board of Experts (2014-2024)

A graduate in History of Art and Aesthetics from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovakia), he has been director since 2001 of the Jaroslav Fragner Gallery, the leading Czech platform for contemporary architecture. Prior to this, he was secretary of the Jindřich Chalupecký Society, and he produced and organised the Prize for Young Czech Artists (of under 35 years of age). He also leads the artistic curatorship of the Artscape Norway project, which fosters discussion and artistic exchanges between Norway and the Czech Republic.

As a curator, he has organised exhibitions on E. Dietmann, C. Boltanski, K. Gebauer, and A. Gormley in the Prague Castle. He was also one of the founders of the Iniciativa Za novou Prahu (Initiative for a New Prague) and of Tady není developerovo (This Is No Land for Developers).
