Architectural theorist and curator.
Member of the Prize Jury (2026)

Director of the Architekturzentrum Wien since 2017. Before taking this position, she developed an international career as a curator, visiting professor, and author in the field of architecture and urban planning. Her work focuses on the social contextualization of architecture, the responsible use of resources, and a global perspective.

In 2003 and 2005, she curated Austria’s participation in the São Paulo Architecture Biennial. Her most recent exhibitions and publications include Critical Care: Architecture for a Broken Planet, curated together with Elke Krasny at Az W in 2019, accompanied by a book published by the MIT Press. Also at Az W, she was responsible for the exhibitions Assemble: How We Build (2017) and Downtown Denise Scott Brown (2018).

She is also a regular member of international advisory boards and juries; among others, she is a member of the IBA Expert Council for the German government in Berlin. In 2022, she was awarded the Julius Posener Prize for Architectural Theory. .
