Lead Planner in Urban Panning Institute of Belgrade. Member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space for the 2010, 2012 and 2016 editions.
Žaklina Gligorijević is an engaged architect and an experienced urban planner with Master of Science degree from Belgrade University, and knowledge from SPURS, MIT and Harvard GSD. Gathered her professional experience in private, NGO, and public sector, where apointed the Director of Urban Planning Institute of Belgrade from 2008-2012. Signed various urban design competitions, projects, studies and plans, including the Belgrade Master Plan (2009). Interested in public realm, strategic thinking, sustainable urban rehabilitation, and creative sector. She had put efforts in education and communication, organizing and participating in national and international conferences, exhibitions, workshops and events. Hosted Barcelona in Progress, 2007, European Prize for Public Space, 2008, Vienna social housing, 2009, planning, and architecture 2010. She is actual Vice president of Belgrade Association of Architects, President of the National ISoCaRP delegation, and national representative in ACE.
