Based on texts intende to be a critical contribution to Habitat 3, Fernando Carrion, Jordi Borja y Marcelo Coti have coordinated a publication that includes thirthy outstanding thinkers from Latin America, the United States and sevelar European countries in the Urban Agenda od the Untied Nations. The book Ciudades resistentes, ciudades posibles ,  which was promoted by the Alternative Forum and now published by the UOC publishing house, proposes a complementary dialogue between Europe and the American continent offering alternative proposals in favor of sistainable urban growth, territorial and social equality and citizens' rigths.

Presentation with the participation of Janet Sanz, fifth deputy mayor of Barcelona and responsible for the Department of Ecology, Urbanism and Mobility; Fernando Carrión, Secretary General of Habitat 3 Alternative and coeditor of the book; Jordi Borja, professor emerituos of the UOC, president of the Scientific Commitee of the program City and Urbanism and coeditor of the book; and Mireia Belil,  General Director of the  Universal Forum of Cultures Foundation.
