A free-lance curator, critic, lecturer at the University of Oporto and author of several publications, Pedro Gadanho, is now beginning a new phase of his career at the head of the Department of Art and Design, an institution of august tradition that was founded in 1932. He will be responsible for a wide-ranging programme of exhibitions and other architecture-related activities of the museum, for example MOMA PS1 and the international Young Architects Programme.
