Ivan Mirkovski

Skopje (Republic of Macedonia)
Professor of Urbanism at the University American College in Skopje (UACS), founder of the Architecture Week in Skopje and a member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space since the 2012 edition.


Ivan Mirkovski is an architect, urban planner and lecturer in urban design studies at the UACS University – Faculty for Architecture and Design in Skopje, Macedonia. He is the Founder of Skopje Architecture Week and Forum Skopje – international platform for urban planning, sociology and the contemporary thought. Mirkovski obtains his Master’s Degree at the Technical University of Vienna where he is currently Ph.D. candidate. At the moment he works and resides in Skopje where he is partner/owner at the architectural studio Smart Living.
