Architect and architecture critic, Editor-in-Chief of the Architektura-murator magazine and member of the Jury  of the European Prize for Urban Public Space since 2016. 


The architect and architecture critic Ewa P. Porębska is editor in chief of the Architektura- Murator monthly magazine and Vice-President of ZPR MEDIA SA publishing house. She works actively to popularize the best examples of world architecture and to promote Polish architecture; she authored many texts on architecture-related subjects and has curated a dozen or so exhibitions, among which Poland. Icons of Architecture (a number of European cities, 2006) and POLSKA. Architecture touring exhibition (China, Macedonia, Ireland, Azerbaijan, 2015), both organized by the Architektura-murator magazine in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Originator and curator of the Architektura-murator Collection for the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw exhibition, which initiated a collection of models of the best architectural structures built in Poland after 1989 (Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, 2014). She also conceived and organized a cyclical LIFE IN ARCHITECTURE competition for the best structures built in Poland after the downfall of communism. For her achievements in the field of spatial order and development of architecture, the President of the Republic of Poland awarded her the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta. Her contribution to the dissemination of Polish architecture has been also recognized with medals of the Polish Association of Architects (SARP) and the University of Technology in Krakow. She is a member of the Board of the Architectural Museum in Wroclaw and she has served on the juries of competitions including the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Prize (2013) and the World Architecture Festival in Barcelona (2008 and 2010 editions). Porebska was member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space from 2010 until 2014. She is member of the jury since 2016.
