Architect and urban planner from the Urban Planning and Development Research Centre of Novi Sad and a member of the Expert Committee of the European Prize for Urban Public Space since the 2014 edition.


Work as an architect and urban planner, in Urban Planning, Development and Research Centre Novi Sad, Serbia. Centre is urban planning institute in charge for urban planning and spatial development of city of Novi Sad.
Professional and scientific scope of his work is based on spatial development of cultural heritage zones of city of Novi Sad. Local architectural history research is another field of his work.
Both fields of research are assets which recommended him for a team working on Novi Sad candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2020.
Darko Polic is an author of project of redesigning Novi Sad Danube riverside cause way in 2009.
He is a co-author of the Serbian edition of The Urban designed compendium (English partnerships UD compendium), which is officially supported and sponsored by Serbian Chamber Engineers.
He is also a cofounder of CAB-web portal, dedicated to promotion of good urban planning design and development.
His interest is architectural critics, mostly published in a magazine of Novi Sad Association of Architects.
