This exhibition concerning the big cities of emerging regions from Central Asia through to the Pacific brings together works conceived by artists, writers, film-makers and journalists who interpret the multicultural city, its rapid transformation over the last two decades and the difficult conditions of life for its inhabitants.
In a range of formats – video, cinema, documentary, cartoon, novel and photography, inter alia – the exhibition offers, in the form of an urban dialogue between Europe and Asia, fragments of the anonymous lives of people in large cities undergoing the processes of change.
